If you experience headaches regularly, or frequently have a sore jaw, what should you do? While visiting your doctor may seem like an obvious solution, would you be surprised to learn that our team may be able to help as well? You see, consistent jaw pain could be a symptom of TMJ disorder.

Untreated TMJ disorder can lead to a number of serious issues. Aside from headaches and pain in your jaw, you could hear a grinding or clicking noise when you open your mouth. In addition, because of TMJ disorder, you could also suffer from bruxism, ear popping, ear infections, or even struggle to open or close your jaw completely. If you notice any of these symptoms, we recommend contacting our team as soon as possible.

TMJ disorder can sometimes be extremely painful. If you have this issue, there are a number of things you can do to address TMJ disorder. For instance, if your situation is severe enough, our team may need to recommend surgery. However, in more common instances, our team could simply recommend and create a custom mouthguard. At other times, we may recommend a different solution.
